Car Rental Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TURKEY

Payment Methods: Primary method of payment is online credit card payment via PayPal. We also accept cash and Master & Visa credit cards on arrival. Currently, we don’t have any other payment forms and please note that we cannot process American Express cards unless you pay online through PayPal.The balance payment on return of the vehicle is paid directly to the car rental company upon return in accordance with the provisions set in the documents given to the customer. Payment should be made via a valid credit card or in cash.Our rates include taxes and insurance, but please note that damages to windscreen, headlights and tires are not covered in Turkish insurance policies. You can get covers as optional extras when making a reservation.You will be provided with the emergency contact numbers. Please keep them on your phone in case of emergencies.

OBLIGATIONS FOR THE DRIVERS

• It is obligatory to have a valid International Driving License (British Driver’s Licenses are valid as well).• The drivers must be a minimum of 22 years of age. Age limits are shown on the car page.• The driver must have held a valid driver's license for at least 2 years.• The reserve drivers must be registered when booking. If not, your insurance policy will be invalid. Our insurance policy covers 2 main drivers free of charge. Any additional drivers will be charged at a flat-rate fee of 10 Euro regardless of the rental duration.• The maximum age of a driver must not exceed 80 years.

BABY SEATS & OTHER EXTRAS

We provide baby seats upon your request. However, you must choose to have one when making a reservation. Please note that the child seats are of standard size, suitable for children weighing up to 16kg (35 pounds). You can also choose to have other extras (GPS devices, etc.) when reserving a vehicle. You'll see the option to choose any "optional extras" as you please on the booking screen after you choose the vehicle.

UNLIMITED MILEAGE

Unlike many other companies, our rates include unlimited mileage.

FUEL POLICY

The client is responsible for returning the vehicle with the same level of fuel at the time they received it. You will not be refunded for unused fuel. However, if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than given on arrival, you will be charged at the relevant amount.

DELAYED RETURNS

The delay charge is 1/3 of the daily rate for each full hour. If you exceed 3 hours, it’ll be counted as an extra day.

INSURANCE COVER FOR PERSONAL ACCIDENT

This type of insurance covers personal injuries caused in an accident to the driver under contract while they were driving within the scope of the insurance policy. British citizens may not need such insurance if they have personal health insurance or travel insurance covering personal injuries.Please also see the Insurance Terms section below for more details on insurance.

TRAFFIC FINES

Any traffic violation incurred during the rental period shall be paid by the renter. Such fines are sometimes paid immediately, but occasionally they arrive by mail afterwards. If such a case occurs after you leave the country, your credit card will be billed, and you will be informed by e-mail and/or other means.

24/7 ROAD ASSISTANCE

In case of an accident/damage, you’ll get 24/7 road assistance with vehicle substitution (if needed).

TERMS OF POLICY FOR CHANGING RESERVATION & CANCELLATION OF RENTAL

• We permit our customers to change the details of the reservation. Any changes must be notified to our company at least 2 days prior to the starting date of the vehicle rental.• All cancellations should be notified at least 7 days prior to the starting date of the vehicle rental.• If a customer wants to cancel a pre-paid 'special offer made fee booking', starting from the date of booking the customer has 7 days to cancel this. After this 7 days period refund will not be made.• After the rental contract is made, if you prefer to cancel your car while you were in Turkey, no refund is made

DOCUMENTS AND BOOKING ID

You will be required to sign the Rental Agreement when booking online. You will receive a specific “Booking ID”, which will be required when picking up the vehicle. The other documents you’ll need are obviously your ID or passport, confirming your identity, and your driver’s license.

PARTIES’ RIGHT TO REFUSE

Our company reserves the right to reject the reservation of a car for any customer who is not considered fit to drive in our sole discretion. However unlikely, if such a situation occurs, the contract made between the customer and us will be cancelled immediately and the customer will be informed and refunded. We shall be free from all liabilities against the customer.

SUITABILITY OF THE VEHICLE

The provided descriptions, images and characteristics of vehicles may change or be cancelled without prior notice to the customer. Our company reserves the right to change the vehicle due to availability of vehicles. In such cases, the customer will be presented with the option to choose another vehicle or be refunded.

WITH YOUR CONTRACT

In addition to the conditions contained in any rental agreement, you will be responsible for anyone driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, causing willful damage, driving off road, or driving negligently and/or without due care or attention or in breach of any road laws during the rental period. You agree to indemnify us against any claim or demand whatsoever in respect to any type of breach of this condition. We may be acting as an independent car rental company at its own locations and acting as a broker for other independent car rental companies in its network. We reserve the right to change the type of the car reserved to another car with similar or better specifications when subject to conditions beyond its control.

INSURANCE TERMS

NO EXTRA FEES FOR CDW (COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER)

Collision Damage Waiver means that if the car is involved in an accident, your liability for the damage is relinquished. The amount covered by the insurance is limited, and it excludes glass (windows, mirrors, etc.), wheels and the towing service. The waiver generally carries an excess/deductible of a certain amount. This means that the renter will be liable for a certain determined amount. For example; in Turkey, the minimum amount starts from 450 GBP. Every country has a minimum amount of insurance needed for someone to be permitted to drive the rental car. This insurance covers the renter’s liability for any damage caused to other people and/or other people’s property or etc. This is usually in limited amount and there may be excess i.e. you might be liable for any amount over and above the value of the insurance cover.

NO EXTRA FEES FOR FDW (FULL DAMAGE WAIVER)

Certain car rental companies might charge you up to the excess amount in the event of damage to the rented car or theft of the rented car. We will not charge you if the following procedure has been completely faithfully followed. In the event of an accident or damage to the rented vehicle;1. You must inform our contact representatives immediately. The details are provided in your copy of the agreement.2. In an accident case, you have to contact the police and obtain a written report. In Turkey you will also need to contact the police even for minor damages. You need to get a damage report and a police report for the events.3. In the event of a traffic accident, the vehicle must not be moved until the Traffic Police or the Gendarmerie arrive. Please make sure you DO NOT move the vehicle even if it is blocking a route or way.4. You will also have to make a damage report to our representative when you return the car.

NO EXTRA FEES FOR THEFT INSURANCE

This term reduces the renter’s liability for the attempted theft of the car or theft of the rented vehicle. The waiver may carry an excess/deductible amount. What this means is that the renter will be liable for a certain amount of the value of the vehicle damaged or stolen (e.g. up to £2,000). If the vehicle is stolen and the renter cannot return the key of the vehicle (i.e. the renter was negligent for the situation and left the key in a prominent and vulnerable location), the renter may be liable for the full cost of the vehicle and the client will have to pay for that.

EXCEPTIONS TO AN ALL INCLUSIVE INSURANCE

The charges for any of the damages specified below will be charged directly to the client’s account. The most important damage charges are the following: Antenna, damage given to car lock, loss or damage given to keys, windshield wipers, glass, mirrors, wheels, wheels, interior part of the car, spare keys and car jack, hubcap, lights, gas cap, warning triangles, damage to the upholstery of the car, damages to the roof, damages caused by roof racks, extreme dirtiness in the interior part of the vehicle, underside damage, personal belongings in the rented car, damage due to negligence, tire punctures and burst tires, fuel errors, damage to child seats and baby seats, flat battery because of electrical devices not being turned off, loss of the car documents, loss of registration plate.In any case, we will not be obligated to replace any part or appliance damaged due to the client’s negligence. Please note that the towing costs are not covered by any insurance. It is well known that some car rental companies will offer extra insurances to cover the above exclusions.Local laws govern the terms and conditions of hiring vehicles and the rental contract signed online and/or on collection of the car is legally binding. The damages caused by driving under the influence alcohol or other substances, or negligent driving will never be excluded from the client's direct liabilities.
